Peering into the future a bit....

as well as clearing out the older journal before it becomes another year before another post. Still not going to be posting on here for the moment, but figured I'd throw an update up here anyway. If you wanna see my new stuff, check out my FA, my Insta, or my Tumblr. Insta and FA will get the majority of the updates, but I figure it doesn't hurt to link my tumblr anyway. Either way, Got a new dice box design finished recently and working on some more new ones. Also prepping for, what some friends have said may be a tad aggressive, convention schedule for this year. Thanks to a few shows recently, I'm starting to feel like I'm on the verge of selling dice boxes becoming successful. Really don't want to jinx myself, and I have a back of the mind feeling that it is still a ways off with the impending recession hanging over everything, but I can't help but hope that things will continue to move in positive direction. Hello, I don't want to be alarmist, but due to hacks, spambots, favbots, and other unpleasant events, people are becoming a bit paranoid and choosing to block others.

To avoid being blocked, avoid these actions:


  1. Fav&run, besides ruining your reputation like Emperor-CatVI, giving favs without leaving comments or +watch, can classify you as a favbot.

  2. Leaving very simplified comments like a single emoji or one or two words might be considered a form of spam.

  3. DO NOT MIX SFW AND NSFW art in your favorites!; this greatly annoys artists. Use an alternative account to save your NSFW art.

  4. Don't leave your account empty; if your statistics show 0 comments made, 0 favourites, no profile picture, and you have a long account history, you may be blocked.

  5. The instant watch/unwatch action can be annoying for some people; please avoid it.


Many people are unaware of this, but when you get blocked on DeviantArt, the artwork from the artist who blocked you is removed from your favorites gallery. Additionally, you won't be able to find the artwork of the artist who blocked you; it will be hidden from your search, and you won't be able to view their art until they unblock you.

Huh... Thanks for the tips. Knew things got bad, but didn't think it'd gotten that bad with the scammers. I'll try and keep some of these in mind, though I will be leaving my account mostly empty aside from the occasional journal. Once DA finishes imploding from bad business decisions and has an actually good update and gets it's head out of it's arse and removes algorithm generated images, I might consider starting to upload art here again.

If you're going to upload your content, I recommend giving the images Nightshade before it is AI poison.
